Member Types and Dues:
Active Member
Active members shall be those individuals having responsibility for medical staff services related functions in a healthcare entity, managed care organization, CVO, and related fields dealing with physicians and other healthcare practitioners. Active members shall pay dues and shall be eligible to vote and hold office. Active members shall be encouraged to join the National Association of Medical Staff Services.
Dues are $50 for new members and $45 for renewing members.
Affiliate Member
Affiliate members shall consist of former active members who no longer fulfill the active criteria, individuals who do not meet the criteria for active membership but support the NAMSS organization, or full-time students enrolled in a
health-related field. Affiliate members shall pay dues but shall not be eligible to vote or hold office; however, they may serve in an advisory position.
Dues are $50 for new members and $40 for renewing members.
